The range

Aluminum flatbeds for 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks

Aluma Tray aluminum flatbeds replace the factory box on full size pickups and mount to 1 ton chassis cabs. Pick by truck first: short box, long box, or a 60 inch cab to axle chassis cab. Then pick your bulkhead and options. An 84 inch cab to axle model is in development.

What is an aluminum flatbed?

An aluminum flat bed replaces your pickup's factory box with a flat aluminum deck that mounts to the truck's frame. There are no bed walls or wheel wells in the way, and the space under the deck becomes locking storage. Aluminum doesn't rust, and it keeps the weight down.

Every Aluma Tray is an aluminum pickup flatbed built the same way: CNC cut and formed high strength aluminum, garnet media blasted and finished in matte black powder coat, with a Rhino Lined deck, isolated from the chassis on steel mounts and urethane bushings so the aluminum is never bolted straight to the frame. Some people call it a truck tray. We build them to carry truck campers, and our truck camper flatbed guide covers how to choose one.

Storage boxes, L-Track and tie downs

Every model comes with four locking underbody storage boxes under the deck. Each box has a weep hole to let moisture out, and the doors seal with non-memory welded rubber to keep dust and water out. These flatbed storage boxes are standard on every tray.

Anodized aircraft L-Track runs along both sides of the deck, so you can set tie down points where the load needs them. The optional 12" removable perimeter fence bolts to it.

Under the deck you can add a sealed rear drawer in 36" or 72" lengths, depending on your truck. See prices for every option.

Fitment questions

Which Aluma Tray fits a short box truck?

The Aluma Tray 6.75' replaces the bed on a 3/4 ton or 1 ton short box truck. It is rated to 3,000 lbs evenly distributed and comes with four locking under-deck boxes.

Which Aluma Tray fits an 8 foot long box truck?

The Aluma Tray 8' replaces the bed on a 3/4 ton or 1 ton long box truck. It carries the same 3,000 lb rating as the 6.75' and adds a 25 inch front bulkhead option.

Which Aluma Tray fits a chassis cab?

The Aluma Tray HD-60 and HD-60-HC both fit 1 ton chassis cabs with a 60 inch cab to axle measurement. Both are rated to 5,000 lbs evenly distributed and include their front bulkhead in the starting price. For an 84 inch cab to axle chassis, see the HD-84. Its price, weight and load rating are published once the factory signs them off.

Will an Aluma Tray fit my camper?

Most hard side slide-in and flatbed campers can run on an Aluma Tray, but fit depends on the camper, not just the truck. Talk to us or an authorized dealer with your camper make, model and dimensions before ordering.

Do I need anything extra if my truck is a dually?

Yes. Dual rear wheel trucks require the dually fender extension kit at $2,268 USD, which includes fenders, a stair mount extender and a set of jack extensions for the front jacks. It is available on the 8', HD-60 and HD-60-HC. It also works well on a single wheel conversion running wider MPT tires.
