Dual rear wheel fitment
Aluminum dually flatbed for truck campers
A dually flatbed from Aluma Tray is the 8' on a dual rear wheel truck with the 8 foot long box, or the HD-60 on a dually chassis cab at 60 inch cab to axle, and both take the dually fender kit at $2,268 USD. The 6.75' is single rear wheel only, so talk to us before you order a short bed dually flatbed.

Fitment
Which Aluma Trays fit a dually
The box length or the cab to axle picks the flatbed for a dually truck. Dual rear wheels add the fender kit.

Short bed dually flatbed
The Aluma Tray 6.75' is the flatbed for a short box, and it is single rear wheel only. The dually fender kit is not offered on it. If your short box truck runs dual rear wheels, talk to us before you order.
The same goes for a Ram Mega Cab dually. The Mega Cab has a short box, so it takes the 6.75', and the 6.75' does not take the kit.
Dually vs SRW for a camper
On the flatbed, the only thing that changes between a single rear wheel truck (SRW) and a dually is the fender kit. A dually needs the dually fender extension kit, $2,268 USD. It includes the fenders, a stair mount extender and a set of jack extensions for the front jacks. A factory single rear wheel truck needs none of it, and the kit also works well on a single wheel conversion running wider MPT tires.
The deck and the four locking under-deck boxes are the same either way. A dually F-350 with the 8 foot long box and an SRW F-350 with the same box both take the Aluma Tray 8'.
The HD-60-HC has one more choice tied to the rear wheels. Its passenger side bulkhead is a 15" matching box ($2,491) if the chassis stays dual rear wheel, or a 14.5" spare tire carrier ($1,034) if it has had a single rear wheel conversion, because the spare can no longer ride on the camper.
Whichever you run, the tray's own weight comes out of your payload before the camper goes on. The 8' is ≥ 765 lbs, the HD-60 is ≥ 840 lbs and the HD-60-HC is ≥ 900 lbs. Start from the payload on your truck's door jamb sticker. The truck camper flatbed guide walks through the math.
Width and fender clearance
A dual rear wheel axle is wider than a single rear wheel one, and the deck has to clear it. That is what the dually fender extension kit does, and it is required on any dual rear wheel build.
On the Aluma Tray HD-60 the vacant deck surface is 9'02" long by 7' wide as built, with a 7" tapered, full width 84" bulkhead. On the Aluma Tray HD-60-HC it is 8' long by 7' wide as built. The Aluma Tray 8' deck is 84" wide.

Ford, Ram and Chevy dually notes
Ford F-350 dually flatbed
An F-350 dually with the 8 foot long box takes the 8' plus the kit. An F-350 dually chassis cab at 60 inch cab to axle takes the HD-60 plus the kit, and so does an F-450 or F-550 built at 60 inch on dual rear wheels. On a short box F-350 dually, talk to us first. F-350 dually flatbed fitment.
Ram 3500 dually flatbed
A Ram 3500 dually with the 8 foot long box takes the 8' plus the kit, and a Ram 3500 dually chassis cab at 60 inch cab to axle takes the HD-60 plus the kit. A Ram 4500 or 5500 chassis cab at 60 inch takes the HD-60 too. On a Mega Cab dually or a short box dually, talk to us first. Ram 3500 dually flatbed fitment.
Chevy and GMC 3500HD dually flatbed
A Silverado or Sierra 3500HD dually with the 8 foot long box takes the 8' plus the kit, and a 3500HD dually chassis cab at 60 inch cab to axle takes the HD-60 plus the kit. Chevy and GMC share the chassis, so the answer is the same for both. Chevy and GMC 3500HD dually flatbed fitment.

Questions
Dually flatbed questions
Which Aluma Tray fits a dually truck?
The Aluma Tray 8' fits a dually with the 8 foot long box, and the Aluma Tray HD-60 fits a dually chassis cab at 60 inch cab to axle. The Aluma Tray HD-60-HC fits the same chassis and is built for the OEV High Country camper. All three take the dually fender kit at $2,268 USD. The 6.75' does not.
Do you make a short bed dually flatbed?
Not on the 6.75'. The Aluma Tray 6.75' is our short bed flatbed, and the dually fender kit is not offered on it, so it is single rear wheel only. If your short box truck or Mega Cab runs dual rear wheels, talk to us before you order.
How wide is a dually flatbed?
On the Aluma Tray HD-60 the vacant deck surface is 9'02" long by 7' wide as built. On the Aluma Tray HD-60-HC it is 8' long by 7' wide. The Aluma Tray 8' deck is 84" wide. On a dual rear wheel truck the deck has to clear a wider axle, and the dually fender kit is what does that.
How much is the dually fender kit?
The dually fender extension kit is $2,268 USD and is required on any dual rear wheel build. It includes the fenders, a stair mount extender and a set of jack extensions for the front jacks. It is available on the 8', HD-60 and HD-60-HC. It also works well on a single wheel conversion running wider MPT tires.
Does a dually need a different flatbed than a single rear wheel truck?
No. A dually takes the same 8' or HD-60 as a single rear wheel truck with the same box or cab to axle. The difference is the dually fender kit, $2,268 USD, which only dual rear wheel trucks need.
Why an aluminum dually flatbed?
Aluminum doesn't rust, and it keeps the weight down, which matters when the tray's weight comes out of your payload. Every Aluma Tray is powder coated CNC cut and formed high strength aluminum with a Rhino Lined deck, finished in matte black.
Do you build custom dually flatbeds?
Not usually. Every Aluma Tray is a production model built the same way each time, and a dually takes the same flatbed as a single rear wheel truck plus the dually fender kit. We have made modifications for customers, such as a different storage box, and we look at specific requests. Ask us or your dealer before you order.
Can I keep my hitch on a dually flatbed?
Yes. Your truck's factory hitch receiver stays the same and stays intact when the flatbed goes on. It only changes if you arrange something different with your dealer.
How long does a dually flatbed take to build?
Typical lead time is about 8 weeks, and it moves with order volume. Check current build slots with us or with your dealer before you plan an install date.
